Getting ready for Back to School
Hello Armstrong Elementary families!
We resume regular office hours beginning the week of Monday, August 25th from 8:30 to 2:30pm.
Should you have any questions or registration inquiries for this coming school year, please contact our office at aes@sd83.bc.ca or Principal Megan Weir at mweir@sd83.bc.ca
A reminder that the first day of school for grades 1-5 is Wednesday, September 3rd – welcome bell at 8:03 and early dismissal will be at 11:00am. Busses will run the regular morning route and will run for early dismissal as well. Thursday, September 4th will be the first full day for students Grades 1 through 5.
Kindergarten families: you should have received a gradual entry letter with a schedule for your child. If you did not, please reach out to us to obtain a copy at aes@sd83.bc.ca
School Supplies: just a reminder that families do not need to purchase school supplies for their children. The school has purchased school supplies for each classroom, and families are charged a School Supply Fee to cover the cost of supplies used over the course of the year. In preparation for the first day, students will need to have a backpack, water bottle/snack and a clean pair of indoor runners (with white non-marking soles). Please label your child’s items.
We hope all of our families are having a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing students back next week.
