Flag: Half-Masting

Flag Half-Masting Notice: Death of the Sovereign’s Spouse: Pursuant to the British Columbia policy for Half-masting (Section 12), the Canadian flag on all British Columbia government buildings and establishments across the province will be flown at half-mast from now (April 9, 2021) until sunset on the day of the funeral and memorial service (to be determined) to acknowledge death of His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh. All schools lower their flags to mark this occasion as well.
