A bear was sighted near the preschool today at approximately 1:40. Conservation officers have been notified and we were advised to have students walk home in groups, or to be picked up if unable to walk in a group. We gathered all students that walk home in the gym and dismissed with parents, middle school siblings or with a staff member who then walked them home in a large group.  Thank you to our amazing AES staff and Armstrong community for your support with keeping our kids safe.
