In the month of December we are changing our parent information system from Parent Connect to the My Education Family Portal
This will be where you will access your child’s information records. In the next week or so you will receive an email from the My Education BC system welcoming you to login. This email will come to only contacts in our system who have parental authority. Other contacts can have access to the Family Portal, but contacts with parental authority would have to approve that. Within this email, you will be provided with a link to a support document that has a listing of frequently asked questions, as well as an email address you can use to get further support if necessary. If you prefer to speak to someone directly, a phone number will also be provided in this email. As we roll out our Family Portal to our school, you can also expect to see links to all of this support we will offer to families on our school website.
My Education BC is the provincial student information system that all school districts now use. The Family Portal allows parents to login into see several things such as published reports (i.e.) report cards, CB-IEPs, Diploma Verification Reports, their child’s schedule and attendance information, demographic information (including medical and legal alerts), fee assessments, self-assessment of core competencies, and much more.
