School starts at 8:03 on Tuesday, September 7 for
students in grade 1-5 and dismisses at 11:07. Buses run 3 hours early this day.

1. Office Hours
The school office will be open from 8:30 – 2:30, starting Monday, August 30th. Our secretary (Ms. Kate Gedak) & principal (Ms. Corrinne Langston) will be busy preparing for the new school year.
2. Registration

Welcome! New student registration day is being held Tuesday, August 31 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at all School District No. 83 (North Okanagan-Shuswap) schools.

If you aren’t sure which school your children should attend please click here or contact the school district operations department (250-832-9415) who will be happy to help. There are 2 elementary schools Armstrong Elementary Highland Park Elementary
Also, if your child will be taking the school bus please register with our transportation department at 250-832-9415. All families on bus routes should be receiving route stop and time information in late August. If you have not received yours by September 2 please contact the transportation department.
3 . First Week of School for Kindergarten

4. School Supplies
We charge a $35 school supply fee for school purchased student supply package. The school does a bulk purchase in the summer to help ensure prices are low, quality is high and items are consistent and what each teacher requires for their students. AES School Fee Link
