Open House
We hope to see all of our families this Thursday Sept. 20 for our Open House. Students are welcome to take their families for a tour of the school and their classrooms between 6:00 and 6:40 and then come and enjoy the potluck desserts in the gym a brief presentation and introduction of the staff from 6:40-7:30. Hope to see you then!
Terry Fox
Our AES Terry Fox run is scheduled for Friday, September 21st at 12:30. We will begin in the gym with a reminder of why we run and then head outside for a school wide run/ walk. Students wishing to make a donation may do so and may hand in donations to their classroom teacher.
Orange Shirt Day
Friday, September 28th we are celebrating Orange Shirt Day. We will have a short presentation during our September Celebration assembly at 8:30. It was fantastic to see the “Sea of Orange” at our school last year – we are hoping many students and staff will once again support the day by wearing orange.
